Pete’s Diary is owned by Dede Dankelson and her son, Peter Dankelson. Dede is the writer, content creator, and business manager. Peter is the musician and motivator-in-chief. Their books and music have inspired a large social media following.

Peter's story and talent is the inspiration that fuels Pete's Diary. He has undergone 38 surgeries to correct birth defects due to Goldenhar Syndrome. Peter found his passion for playing guitar at the age of 15 and used it to get through his toughest recoveries. He's released an EP and album under the Pete's Diary brand.
